Grab a pair of unique Australian earrings while supporting endangered species recovery.

Litoria raniformis goes by many common names including Southern Bell Frog, Growling Grass Frog and the Motorbike frog.  It is one of the largest and most voracious frogs in Australia known for consuming other frogs (including its own kind). This species is nationally listed as vulnerable because of widespread declines in population and reduction in species range. A broad spectrum of threats have likely contributed to their current state including land clearance and modification of natural water flows.  Volunteers can help this species by getting involved in annual frogwatch censuses like FrogWatch SA.

Each piece in our rare species range is delicately hand painted on a timber base and carries its own unique characteristics. Due to this some minor variations from the pictured product are to be expected.

5% of all net earnings related to the rare species range will be donated to threatened species recovery programs. Sign up to the mailing list to track donations.

Gold plated stainless steel hook

Each piece from the endangered species range is designed by me (Nat) on Adobe Illustrator following a sketching session on my iPad.

From there I laser cut it on my handy at home machine on to a piece of timber, then hand sand each side for a smooth finish.

Each piece is then hand painted with premium acrylic paint and varnished on both sides. Lastly they are secured to their respective fittings with super strong jewellery specific glue or attached to high quality metal fittings.

Every care is taken to ensure that we accurately represent the colour of a product when we photograph but screens are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. So please keep this in mind when considering purchasing our products.

Our items are handcrafted, laser cut and assembled in our home in Nairne, South Australia. Although designs are laser cut and we do our best to quality control all items listed on our website, chips, scratches, burn marks, variations in material, colour and finish as well as imperfections can occur.

Please treat your pieces gently, acrylic can be delicate and glues may break if earrings are dropped.

Please keep earrings away from moisture, alcohol and perfume.
