Grab a unique Australian brooch and support endangered species recovery.
Named after the males stunning golden yellow features, this nationally vulnerable species can be sighted along the River Murray and tributaries where it nests in mature old River Red Gums and forages in nearby mallee communities. Declines in river health and clearance of adjacent mallee habitat have led to the listing of this species, but fortunately recovery bodies like the South Australian Regent Parrot Recovery Team are fighting to ensure their survival. Each piece in our rare species range is delicately hand painted on a timber base and carries its own unique characteristics. Due to this some minor variations from the pictured product are to be expected.

Each piece from the endangered species range is designed by me (Nat) on Adobe Illustrator following a sketching session on my iPad.
From there I laser cut it on my handy at home machine on to a piece of timber, then hand sand each side for a smooth finish.
Each piece is then hand painted with premium acrylic paint and varnished on both sides. Lastly they are secured to their respective fittings with super strong jewellery specific glue or attached to high quality metal fittings.
